Just a bit over a year has gone by since I purchased the old bowling alley. After getting the thing gutted, adding the two overhead doors and closing up for winter I took a good long rest from doing any more physical work. A well deserved winters rest to prepare for the work ahead in spring 2015. It’s all about down sizing and preparing for retirement…, yikes!
Nothing beats coming across a standing building that fits all your needs and more. Gives all new meaning to being in the right place at the right time. 6000 square foot with 11 foot clear span ceiling. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC all in place. Concrete included and all for a fraction of what it would cost me to build just a shell. Gotta love it. 🙂
Pictures taken before gutting the building. (See more pictures of the progress I made over the past year, mainly 6 months work in 2014 up until the snow flew.)
