Bought this in August last year as a project, thought I might like to go fishing… It’s really kind of tough to make myself get motivated to travel after traveling 1500-2000 miles during the work week. Go figure, so now that I have her all fixed up to go fishing, I’m going to sell a great camper to a lucky new owner. People love buying my stuff because I do such nice work (and I don’t mind saying so :-))
1973 Forester camper, 18 foot. Very nice condition. I am the second owner and never went camping, just spent the time refurbishing and updating it for a project. Has always been stored inside. No known leaks, no water damage, insulated and fully self contained. Bath has toilet and shower. Gas stove with exhaust hood, has a nice gas furnace/heater, fridge (gas and electric combo) all in great shape and working condition. New water heater. Lots of storage. 12 volt lights and AC plugin. Nice heavy duty tires, bearing buddies and matching spare. Comes with stabilizer jacks, awning, adjustable equalizer hitch with sway and weight bars. Sleeps 4 adults (or 5-6 with kids). Non smoker, no pets.
New upgrades/updates: Curtains, upholstery, plumbing, water tank and lines, water pump and wiring, city water fill, outside hot and cold water hatch, outside water faucet/spray hose, all windows have new cranks and seals have been replaced where needed, 12 volt lights, wiring harness, drawer guides repaired, septic hoses/fittings, LP regulator, hoses and tanks and anything else that needed attention, repaired/replaced.
Pulls and trails down the road excellent with my half ton pick-up. Save yourself a lot of money over buying something new, this camper looks vintage, is nicely used and functions like new. You won’t find a nicer camper this age. Cash only, asking $4500 or best offer.
